Self-Care 101 So what is Self-Care? Why is it so important? How do you practice healthy self-care? This workshop is a great place to start if you wanna learn more about self-care and how to begin implementing it in your life.
Self-Care and Creativity Being a whole healthy person involves taking time to meet your needs through self-care practices. Human beings were made to create and find it to be a very fulfilling experience. Tapping into creative self-care practices can be a new way to provide balance and build self-awareness. Exploring new materials, ways of creating and being intentional in your practices will lead to a higher level of mental health.
Burnout Prevention As a caregiver, either professionally or not, one is often so immersed in caregiving that their own self-care is neglected. This workshop aims to help caregivers find a healthy balance between helping others, and the world, without losing themselves in the process. We provide clients with information about building a healthy level of self-awareness, developing self-compassion and empathy, as well as ways to incorporate creativity into their self-care practices. (Beneficial for Counselors, Social Workers, Nurses, and others in the helping professions.)
Mindfulness Skill Building In a world centered on goals and achieving the next thing we often forget to slow down, which only causes more stress and anxiety. With this workshop we hope to help clients learn about mindfulness, the science behind it, and ways to incorporate creative mindful practices as part of healthy self-care.
Team/Morale Building and Self-Care Teamwork is essential in being successful in the workplace. Sometimes feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and not taking the time to recharge can lead to dysfunctional patterns at work. This workshop is aimed at helping team members/coworkers learn to work together by exploring boundaries, self-care, and healthy communication skills while using creative practices.
Boundaries and Self-Care Developing healthy emotional boundaries with others leads to more satisfaction and better mental health in our lives. Creating a better work-life balance leads to happy and healthier lives. Using creative means to explore current boundaries and what healthy ones might look like is also a great way of implementing self-care. This workshop will help clients learn about emotional boundaries, how to begin implementing them, and how it all works to create healthy self-care practices.
